ZEHR ZEALOUS IN WHITE RACE VICTORY

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (July 9, 2026) – Dalton Zehr battled past Grant Griesbach to capture the 51-lap White Race presented by Angler’s Bar and Grill and Campground and Kurz Industrial Solutions in the Schmitty’s Tickets Super Late Models on Thursday Night.  The win marked a long-awaited return to Victory Lane for the former Fox River Racing Club Champion

Zehr had to wait for his opportunity after Griesbach had built a somewhat healthy lead. Zehr was able to make his pass with five laps to go.

The early portion of the race was led by Jordan Thiel, who out foxed Griesbach after the drop of the green.  However, a restart on lap 14 saw Griesbach get the better of Thiel and take the top spot.  Three laps later, Zehr followed into the Second spot.

Griesbach was able to get away on a lap-17 restart, leaving Zehr to battle with Thiel for Second. Eventually, Zehr was able to secure the spot and set his sights on Griesbach.  It took nearly 30 laps, but eventually Zehr came knocking on the door.

After a few looks to the inside and some contact that both drivers emerged from, Zehr was able to steal the lead with five laps remaining.  Chad Butz stepped in next to try to take Second.  Over the final five circuits, Zehr built up his advantage and Griesbach was able to keep Butz at bay. Andy Monday finished Fourth and Thiel rounded out the Top Five.

STUMPF RETURNS TO PRO LATE VICTORY LANE

After a wreck beat and battered his primary car a few weeks ago, Alex Stumpf found out his back-up car is pretty sporty too.  Stumpf led all 20-laps of the Fox City’s Towing Pro Late Model feature on the way to the win.

Stumpf secured an early lead from fellow front-row starter Andy Kluck and began to build his advantage. The drivers on the move were TJ Spierowski, Brent Strelka, and fast qualifier Jesse Oudenhoven.

It was Oudenhove who surged through the Top Five to grab Second by lap 13. However, Stumpf’s lead was far too large and no cautions came to assist Oudenhoven. Strelka would go on to take Third late in the race to round out the podium.

TREML TOPS SUPER STOCKS

Add yet another winner to the list of Super Stock feature victors in 2026.  Veteran racer Jeff Treml was able to hold off a late charge from Jake Fuller to secure a win in the 20-lap Novus Auto Glass Super Stock main.

Treml took an early lead from Josh Vissers and held his ground as the challengers started to close in.  He was able to turn aside Andy Casavant on a restart before Fuller took the runner-up spot and began to pose a threat.  Fuller had a couple of looks, but Treml was able to turn him aside to take the win.  Behind them, Casavant finished Third.

CALMES DOMINATES SPORT TRUCKS

Mason Calmes has had a few close calls in feature wins this season. Thursday’s 20-lap Wisconsin Sport Truck feature was not one of those close calls. Calmes took the lead on a lap four restart and cruised to the win.

After setting the pace early, Tom Gee Jr was flanked by Calmes on the lap-four restart. Calmes took off, leaving Gee to settle in. Behind them Brady and Kasey Vanderloop were on their way to the front.  Brady would suffer damage after being pinched into the wall and Kasey would see the black flag on a lap-12 restart – ending both of their bids for a win.

On that final lap-12 restart, Calmes quickly ran away from the pack to capture a convincing victory.

DEGROOT DIVES TO VICTORY IN 4s

Alex Degroot made a pair of daring moves to secure the lead and the win in the 20-lap Roundabout Bar and Grill Sizzlin’ 4 feature.

Rylin Volousek led early and paced the field through most of the race.  Late in the going it was Degroot, who also set fast time, making his moves. On lap 15 he saw an opening and dived to the inside of Cody Vandenberg to take Second.  Just three laps later he again took advantage of a small opening to wrestle his way to the lead.

The moves paid off as Degroot took the top spot on lap 18 and went unchallenged over the final two circuits on the way to the win.

ETHAN BEATTIE BESTS FIGURE 8S

It was another trip to the winner’s circle for Ethan Beattie in the Marty Nussbaum Racing Figure 8s. Beattie took the lead from the front row and survived two restarts to take the win in the 13-lap feature.
