March, 24th 2025 Meeting Notes
DATE: Monday, March 24th, 2025 TIME: 7 pm
PLACE: Meeting took place at the Colonial House in Freedom
President Tom Hockers called the meeting to order a 7:00 pm
– Secretary’s Report has been posted on our website: www. frrc.us Rob Thomson asked if there are any additions and/or corrections recommended to the Secretary’s Report. If so, please e-mail RobThomson99@gmail.com Motion to accept made by Ethan Beattie the motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
-Andy Monday provided the Treasurer’s financial report was read by Andy. Also, the membership and drivers’ forms were upfront to get filled out. Motion to accept made by Jocoby Pollei. The motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.

- Memberships
- Please remember after the April meeting the cost of member ships goes up.
- Employee meeting will 6pm April 28th at the colonial house
- We will be having a meeting for the employees before next month’s meeting.
- Kids in the pits; Reading of the rule
- The rule was read off by Tom Hockers.
- Group discussion happened to make sure that the club can have rules and still have the FRRC kids club
- Suggestions of cards for the kids that have the correct paperwork done
- Tim B brought up the idea of writing the name on the wristband to help identify the kids and what team they are with.
- This topic was tabled to be reviewed by the officers and will be read at the April meeting.
- Order of events
- Tom Read off the changes for the RWB where the Supers will race before the late models.
- The 4 clys will be moved back behind the sport trucks for the features.

- Turn 4 tent 4 out of the 10 nights are taken. Please pass any interested people to Sarah Gilbert and help us fill the tent.

- Andy read off the new themes that are listed on the schedule.
- Working with the track owners to bring in new people to the race track
- Team driving needs to be to Rob before Practice Day

- Outer Pits Ethan Beattie is moving a fence and adding asphalt to the gravel

- Joe at Racetech said the prices will be the same as last year.
- Please contact him for your tire needs.
- Ginger VanDaalwyk- asked about May 28th was Retro Night
- And Monday explained it was a night we would encourage fans to wear their old racing appeal
- Larry Raygo Brought up when last place points and pay would be done if a car can not compete in the feature
- Much Discussion of how or what should be granted this with out presenting a car for the race.
- It was stated that the car must have qualified, then the divisional rep should be made aware of the issue and the divisional rep with bring it to the officers to decide.
- Larry Raygo also brought up rule 2.1.7.3 CARS INVOLVED IN CAUTION
- Larry brought up a couple situations that happened last year in the street stock division, and others expressed similar issues.
- IT was voted to let the cars involved choose what ever line they want after the caution not the longest.
- Voted on the membership 30 for removing the rule and none against.

- Mike Butz brought up how the club only covers $200 for gaskets for tearing down motors. That hardly covers the cost of the gaskets
- Discussion happened about how it is an expected expense to keep a division fair
- Jacoby Pollei made a motion to end the meeting and it was second by many in the room and the meeting ended
