February, 24th 2025 Meeting Notes
DATE: Monday, February 24th, 2025 TIME: 7 pm
PLACE: Meeting took place at the Colonial House in Freedom 
President Tom Hockers called the meeting to order a 7:00 pm

  • Secretary’s Report has been posted on our website: www. frrc.us Rob Thomson asked if there
    are any additions and/or corrections recommended to the Secretary’s Report. If so, please e-
    mail RobThomson99@gmail.com Motion to accept made by Ron Kohl the motion was
    seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
    -Andy Monday provided the Treasurer’s financial report was read by Andy. Also, the
    membership and drivers’ forms were upfront to get filled out. Motion to accept made by Ethan
    Beattie. The motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
    OLD BUSINESS:
  • Procedural Rules
    o The officers are in the process of reviewing the rules and asked that if you have
    one you would like to be reviewed, please let the officers know.
    o Social media rule will be added into the rules.
  • Order of Events
    o Officers are looking for feedback
     We want to make sure that if a division has to qualify early in a race
    night that they do not have to wait all night to race.
     Discussed if the divisional order needs to always be the same, or is
    the current way with it changing in the night okay
  • Super Late Model RWB
    o Micheal Anthony said no update and the super teams had a breakout meeting
    after the monthly meeting.
    o All the associated sponsorships still available.
  • Sponsors Update
    o Sarah Gilbert let the club know that June 5 th is an open Pavilion night. If you
    know anyone that would be interested in it please send them to Sarah.
    o Tent in corner 4 has one night booked and many more open please send
    interested parties to Sarah.
    NEW BUSINESS/ Topics from the Floor.
  • Ethan Beattie asked on the Track Contract
    o Tom explained that we did sign the contract and it was posted in last month’s
    minutes.
     Top Gate is $15 Bottom Gate is $20 for Members and $30 for non-
    Members.
     Do not leave junk tires behind the club will be fined per tire and the
    officers will charge you $25 per tire left behind
  • Dave Gracyalny
    o Started the discussion on how the club is going to need spotters this upcoming
    year. The club does not have a list of employees yet but will be looking soon.
    o If you know anyone who is interested in spotting or working with the club in the
    upcoming year, please have them contact an officer.
  • Children in the pits
    o Larry Mcarthur brought up the need to have rules about kids in the pits.
     Too many close calls last year and the club need to look into doing
    something.

o Many discussions happened from how kids should be signed in to how they
should be watched in the pits
o The officers are going to be going to the POWAR meeting to bring this up with
the insurance company.

  • Ethan Beattie made a motion to end the meeting and it was second by many in the room
    and the meeting ended
    ** Next meeting is March 24th Colonial House in Freedom at 7pm
