April, 27th 2026 Meeting Notes
DATE: Monday, April 27th, 2026 TIME: 7 pm
PLACE: Meeting took place at the Colonial House in Freedom
President Tom Hockers called the meeting to order a 7:00 pm
– Secretary’s Report has been posted on our website: www. frrc.us Rob Thomson asked if there are any additions and/or corrections recommended to the Secretary’s Report. If so, please e-mail RobThomson99@gmail.com Motion to accept made by Ethan Beattie the motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
-Andy Monday provided the Treasurer’s financial report was read by Andy. Motion to accept made by Jacoby Pollei. The motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
OLD BUSINESS:
- Tom Discussed the changes to the bylaws Did the 2nd reading
- Changing the officers’ elections to September meeting.
- Splitting the BOD into two groups
- Vote on second reading all were for it and none against the changes.
- WCUB Radio sponsorship was read off the members
- Sarah read off all the ads that the FRRC would get
- Voted on and none against the doing the Radio ads
- Sarah read off all the ads that the FRRC would get
- Audit Committee update
- Larry Mcarthur recapped the review of the FRRC books for the membership.
- Race Director Jason Shultz discussed changes
- Goal in line-up changes is to cross the cars instead of moving up a row
- Change in wording on the contact rule (1/2 and ¼)
- Any car who initiates contact resulting in a yellow flag or any car sufficiently involved in the contact that they; stop, spin or significantly impede the racing behind them will be sent to the end of the running order on the restart.
- 3 wide racing wording will change
- If three wide racing results in a yellow flag, at minimum the third car to enter the three wide will be sent to the end of the running order without exception.
- Qualifying order
- Must be in your spot for qualifying or you will only get one lap
- Start zone
- Clarified as the first line of the cross walk (No three wide until after the flag stand)
- The drivers meeting will now be a driver and spotters meeting
- We request your spotter have your number or team logo on so we know who your spotter is in the spotters stand.
- June 13th Safe Driving Matters car show and concert at WIR
- Ginger VanDaalwyk introduced Alyson O’hern to the members
- Alyson discussed how this organization started and wanted to explain that race cars would be welcome at this event
- Nick Van talked about how he sees this too much in his line of work and is one of the reasons he is sponsoring the event

- FRRC Practice Day May 9th
- Plan is to open at 9 am with cars on track by 11 am
- Cars will be tech before going on track.
- We will be rotating between ½ and ¼ mile divisions
- $10 per person

- FRRC Preseason pit party May 14th
- MAY 15th ¼ Mile show case with Crown Vics

- Clint Smith went over the BOD and who is on it and the appeal process.

NEW BUSINESS/ Topics from the Floor.
- Question on why Track Tunes cannot be used of the geo-fence area of the race track. Many things were discussed
- Andy Monday said that he would contact Track Tunes and see why our area is geo-fenced like it is
Jacoby Pollei made a motion to end the meeting and it was second by many in the room and the meeting ended at 8:02PM
