FOX RIVER RACING CLUB ADDS JASON SHULTZ AS DIRECTOR OF COMPETITION
KAUKAUNA, WI — The Fox River Racing Club (FRRC) is making a change for the 2026 season with the appointment of Jason Shultz as the club’s first-ever Director of Competition. This new role was designed to streamline all race-day activities, ensuring that every competition-related detail is handled with professional precision. In addition to his leadership behind the scenes, Shultz will be the primary voice on the radio as the Race Director for all on-track events, overseeing race control and keeping the action fair, safe, and moving fast from start to finish.
Shultz isn’t new to FRRC having worked for the club for more than 10 years off and on; and he has over 25 years of experience across the motorsports industry. Most recently, he’s spent the last decade as the owner, promoter, and race director of the WABAM Dirt Kings Tour, building it into a premier Dirt Late Model Series across the midwest. His deep resume also includes work with sanctioning bodies (NASCAR, ASA, and the WDLMA), along with a long list of local tracks throughout the region. That mix of national-level standards and local-track programs is exactly what the FRRC was looking for to lead our events.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Jason in this role,” said an FRRC President Tom Hockers. “Creating this Director of Competition role is all about giving our drivers and fans the best possible racing experience, and Jason can help FRRC consistently deliver that. When you look at what he’s accomplished it’s clear he knows what it takes to run a top-tier show. “
The Fox River Racing Club’s 2026 season kicks off May 21, and runs Thursday Nights until September 3 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, WI.
