GRIESBACH SEALS CHAMPIONSHIP WITH FEATURE WIN
KAUKANA, Wis. (August 28, 2025) – Grant Griesbach rounded out a sensational 2025 Fox River Racing Club season at Wisconsin International Raceway by picking up his second win in the Schmitty’s Tickets Super Late Model feature presented by Valley Liquor and Wisconsin Distributors on Thursday night.
Griesbach grabbed the lead on a lap 15 restart and did not look back on his way to the win and the Championship. The weekly track Championship joins Griesbach’s Red, White, and Blue State Championship title he sealed earlier this month.
Travis Rodewald secured an early lead in the main event. Eventually Michael Anthony was able to grab Thirdwith Sawyer Effertz and Griesbach following into the Top Five. The first caution on the race then fell on lap seven when Jordan Thiel made contact with the outside retaining wall.
On the restart Rodewald again jumped away from Jesse Oudenhoven. Anthony was able to move past Oudenhoven with Effertz and Griesbach behind. On lap 15 Anthony and Effertz were going for the same plot of real estate in the battle for Second and made contact. With the caution, both would be sent to the tail of the field.
This left Griesbach on the outside of Rodewald for the restart. Griesbach was able to jump away to a large lead and cruise to the win. Rodewald went on to hold Second over Andy Monday and Riley Stenjem.
STRELKA WINS AGAIN IN PRO LATES, STUMPF IS CHAMPION
Brent Strelka grabbed his second straight Fox City’s Towing Pro Late Model feature event by holding off a hard-charging Braison Bennett. With his Third Place finish, Alex Stumpf successfully defending the division Championship.
Brady Baldry took an early lead and was soon challenged by Bennett. Bennett took the lead on lap six and started to build his advantage. At halfway Strelka weaved his way to Second, but was nearly a straightaway behind. A caution on lap 11 gave him the chance to challenge.
After a couple of laps of side-by-side racing, Strelka muscled his way to the front. Bennett did not fade though. He challenged Strelka over the final five circuits, but was forced to settle for Second.
EMERY BEATTIE SURVIVES WILD SUPER STOCK MAIN, WENZEL WINS TITLE
Emery Beattie held off challenges from Ethan Beattie to score his first Novus Auto Glass Super Stock feature win of the season. By patiently working through the field and avoiding trouble, Dylan Wenzel scored yet another track Championship – this time teaming up with former Champion Greg Hauser.
Larry Raygo paced the field early in the caution-riddled race. He led until just after a lap-seven restart when contact sent both he and Ed Howard to the tail of the field. This handed the lead to Emery Beattie.
With Emery in the lead, Ethan challenged Adam Peterman for Second. He secured the spot just before a caution on lap 11. Ethan challenged Emery over the next few laps until one final caution brought the checkered flag on lap 16 to end the feature.
Wenzel cruised in the Top Five for most of the race after the early melees, helping him secure enough points to win the title.
QUELLA WINS SECOND STRAIGHT SPORT TRUCK FEATURE, BRADY VANDERLOOP GRABS DIVISION CROWN
Kyle Quella did all he could do to try to secure the Wisconsin Sport Truck Championship by winning his second straight feature. However, Brady Vanderloop tailed him to the front and was able to secure the title.
Quella made a daring move to blast past Owen Voight and Grant Gilbert on lap six to secure the lead. He then dashed away from Mason Calmes and Brady Vanderloop on a restart to secure the top spot for good.
Behind Quella, Calmes and Vanderloop swapped the Second position several times, with Calmes eventually taking the spot. However, the Third Place finish was more than enough for Vanderloop to take his first division Championship.
KLEIN SIZZLES THE FOURS, CZARAPATA CELEBRATES CHAMPIONSHIP
With the Championship already sealed by Jeremy Czarapata the previous week, the feature win was the focus in the Roundabout Bar and Grill Sizzlin’ 4 main event.
Gavin Klein scored his second win of the season when he took the lead from Rachel Czarapata at the halfway point of the feature and cruised to a comfortable advantage.
Jeremy Czarapata may have had the title sealed, but he gave a strong effort finishing Fourth.
DANLEY CELEBRATES FIGURE 8 WIN, VANDEWETTERING/GRACYALNY SHARE CHAMPIONSHIP
Jeff Danley held off a hungry field of Marty Nussbaum Racing Figure 8 racers to secure his first win. The win set he and his crew into celebration mode in Victory Lane.
Craig Vandewettering finished Second, but only needed to take the green flag to secure the division title, team driving with Danny Gracyalny.
