November, 25th 2024 Meeting Notes
DATE: Monday, November 25th, 2024 TIME: 7 pm
PLACE: Meeting took place at the Colonial House in Freedom
President Tom Hockers called the meeting to order a 7:00 pm

Motion to accept made by Larry Mc Aurther. The motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
-Andy Monday provided the Treasurer’s financial report was read by Andy. Motion to accept made by Scott A. The motion was seconded. No objections were made and the motion passed.
OLD BUSINESS:
-Banquette update
January 11th at the Colonial house in Freedom, WI and ticket sales will be sold after the meeting please see Andy or Sarah Gilbert. Additional dates will be added on Facebook
NEW BUSINESS:
- POWAR meeting Summary. Tom brought up many different points from the POWAR meeting. Get in the stands, PRI, Hoosier Tire update and Insurance talk
- Gate Prices Tom explained that the Club did have a plan to raise the price of fan gate for next year to $15. Some discussion happened but when it came time to vote all in attendance approved of the price increase.
- Super Late Models are awaiting the updated unified rules to be posted before any amendments are reviewed.
- Pro Late Models: after a large amount of discussion from the club body and the division working on a couple of working issues were able to vote in the rules wording of crate engine certifications and the additional tire option of the 1070 on ten-inch rims. Passed the vote.
- Quarter Late Models updated some safe dates, specification on tires, approved bodies and defined the shock rule. Vote was approved 10 to none.
- Wisconsin Sport Trucks are still working on their rules package and it should be ready for January meeting.
- Steet Stocks agreed to the defined tire rule, three wide racing and the rear trailing arm for Grand Nationals racing in the division for their 5 nights.
- 4 Cly approved the updated tire rules and specification of where additional weight can be added in the car.
- Figure 8 Approved their rules per presented at the meeting ten to four
- BOD restructure
- Matt and Scott talked how the club would like to split up the BOD into two separate groups one for the business unit and one for the divisional reps.
- The division will help the officers and make decisions stream lined.
- The Ladies races will be the second the last night to allow the last night to be about the champions and fan appreciation. Most agreed that this change would be beneficial to the club.
TOPICS FROM THE FLOOR:
-Even Beattie brought up the alternative Figure 8 points structure that was posted in the divisional group chat. Tabled until the next meeting to let other member’s review.
– Ethan Beattie a change to the bylaws to allow the Street stock cars to be available to race figure 8. This was tabled to have the rules reviewed.
- Scott Amade a motion to end the meeting and it was second by many in the room and the meeting ended
