TOPICS FROM THE FLOOR:

-Mitch Opshal Asked if the crashes from the drag strip would affect the insurance for Thursday nights? Short answer is no, because it is a different track.

-Josh Vissor asked how we can find the photos and prices from this year? https://www.danlewisphoto.net/ is where you can find the photos from this year and whys to contact Dan for pictures.

-Larry Raygo brought up that the clubs procedures need to be cleaned up. Ed Howard said he would work with Larry to help clean up the procedures.

-Tim Baumann asked what is the club doing to look into promotions for next year? Sarah is going to be working on getting the posters set up with the nightly sponsors again, the club is looking to add to the radio advertising. Andy Monday brought up how teaming up with nightly sponsored helped last year.

– Ethan Beattie brought up the idea of less members on the BOD. This issue was tabled until after the new officers are elected. Plus, the bylaw will have to be reviewed if this can be done or not. Ethan also asked about a call from the last night of racing. He was informed that the BOD agreed that the officers can make the call. Some discission happened to explain the situation.

-Many procedural topics were brought up for some discussion. Rob will bring these up when we have the procedural meetings in January and February.

  • 3 wide rule (1/4 and ½ mile tracks)
  • Pick- a-lane from the leader
  • Time limits on the races
  • Lights out on the track
  • Who can make a call on the radio
  • What lap we use to line up after cautions
  • Mitch Opshal made a motion to end the meeting and it was second by many in the room and the meeting ended

** Next meeting is October 28th Colonial House in Freedom at 7pm
